Our Comprehensive Mission

The California Rail Foundation (CRF) stands at the intersection of environmental sustainability and technical progress. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to a modernized, high-speed rail network that serves as the backbone of California's economy.

We believe that rail is more than just transportation; it is a catalyst for social equity. By connecting major urban hubs with underserved rural areas, we create pathways for jobs, education, and healthcare. Our foundation works tirelessly to ensure that every rail dollar is spent with transparency and foresight.

Since our inception in Sacramento, we have focused on reducing the state's carbon footprint. By advocating for electrified rail systems, we aim to eliminate thousands of tons of greenhouse gases annually, making California a global leader in green transit innovation.

Our commitment extends to the next generation. Through our technical mentorship programs, we are training the engineers and planners who will build the rail corridors of the 2030s and beyond.

Rail Infrastructure
